I'll soon be going to Italy with my sister to visit a friend who is currently living out there. This will be my second time visiting Italy. Let's hope it's a little better than the last time I went. First time round I was 15 and on a school trip with the boys from MGS who being boys and 15 -18 all smelt. That trip was memorable however (apart from the dodgy smells emitted from the boys)...I remember we had to climb the stairs to the top of the Sistine Chapel and the boys bet that the girls couldn't get to the top.
So, obviously being MHSG girls we rose to the challenge in a confident manner...and got halfway up before our legs turned to jelly. Literally. But, MHSG will never let you down, and we finally managed to get to the top. And no, I wasn't the last one!
The trip was designed for all the GCSE and A Level art students, so we were all equipped with our art gear and traipsed around the art galleries for much needed inspiration. That's exactly the opposite of what happened as you can imagine. Instead you would see a whole coach load of us sat on the steps of the galleries taking our inspiration from watching the passers by....the rumours are true; MHSG and MGS students although incredibly intelligent and articulate beings, are in fact deep down, dossers.
